Steakhouse Seasoned Burgers with Mushrooms & Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 8 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 6 Pound of Ground® Burger Thins™ Steakhouse Seasoned beef patties
  • 6 buns or 12 slices of your favorite bread
  • 6 slices of cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add butter or olive oil to skillet and heat to medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced onions, season with salt and pepper, and sauté about 5 minutes.
  3. Then add mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms are heated and the onions become translucent. Scoop onto bottom buns.
  4. Wipe the pan with a paper towel then cook Pound of Ground® Burger Thins™ beef patties in just 5-6 minutes, according to package directions. Add cheese during last minute, if desired.
  5. Place patties on mushroom and onion mix. Add BBQ sauce if desired.
  6. Makes 6 burgers. Serve warm.
